In one sentence
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) improve the clarity, accessibility and corroboration of business information that AI-assisted search systems may use. The work can improve eligibility to be understood, cited or recommended, but no agency can make an external engine name a business.

Five moving parts, one measurable plan.
We agree on a set of customer questions, test them across the AI surfaces named in your scope, and document whether — and how — your business appears. Results can vary by model, date, account and location, so the report records the test conditions we use.
Valid structured data can help search and other machine systems interpret who you are, what you offer and where you operate. We implement markup that matches visible page content; schema alone does not guarantee a ranking, citation or AI recommendation.
We audit legitimate profiles and sources your business can claim or contribute to, then correct or submit accurate information where permitted. Independent publishers and platforms control what they accept, rank or display, so editorial coverage and placements are never guaranteed.
We improve important pages so people and machine systems can find clear, accurate answers to relevant questions. All claims should be supported by the business; content improvements increase clarity but do not control how an external engine responds.
For Intensive and ongoing monthly plans, the Surfaceddd client dashboard records agreed visibility checks, citation status and project milestones. It is currently updated manually; check frequency and monitored surfaces follow the selected scope.
How it actually goes.

We agree on representative questions and test your business across the AI surfaces included in the scope.
Audit & strategy
We break down what's missing — schema, citations, content — and build a plan specific to your business and market.
Implementation
We complete the agreed technical, content and eligible profile work, with access and approvals from you where required.
Ongoing monitoring
Where monitoring is included, we repeat the agreed checks and record changes; external engine behaviour remains outside our control.

The questions everyone asks.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) improves a site's eligibility and presentation in traditional search results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), often discussed alongside AEO, improves the clarity and corroboration of information that answer engines may use. Neither discipline can guarantee a ranking, citation or recommendation. Read the full answer →
Traditional SEO focuses on crawlability, relevance and visibility in search results. AEO/GEO applies many of the same fundamentals while also making key facts easy for answer engines to understand and corroborate. The goal is improved eligibility for mentions and citations, not a promised placement.
The delivery date for an audit is confirmed before work starts. For implementation work, we normally schedule a comparison check around 4–8 weeks after changes go live, but that is a measurement window rather than a result guarantee. Timing varies by market, source discovery and engine refresh cycles.
We focus on local service businesses — trades like roofing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC first, plus professional services like lawyers and dentists. If your customers ask "who's the best X near me", this applies to you.
Very little. Access to your website and business listings, and a short call to understand your services and service area. We handle the technical work end to end.
Dashboard access is included with Intensive and ongoing Watch, Grow and Outreach plans. It records agreed visibility checks, citation status and completed milestones, and is currently updated manually. Audit and Implementation customers receive their scoped reports and deliverables; dashboard access can be added separately if agreed.
